The two-person exhibition "Parallax " by Alex Losett and Germantown artist Gary Reed, highlights the grit and beauty to be found in, around and on the streets of Philadelphia. From the crumbling architecture and rusted manhole covers, this exhibition challenges the viewer to reassess the paths they take through Philadelphia on a daily basis.Read More
THE LOST CENTENNIAL PROJECT
This series of photographs were inspired by the Philadelphia Centennial of 1876. I became curious about the exposition site because it was such a huge and important part of American history, yet apart from Memorial Hall (now the Please Touch Museum) and a few remnants, there’s little left. This is part of my personal exploration of these grounds.
